Interrail tips: The train planning website
It is almost an essential tool for those who are planning to use the Interrail or EUrail to go around Europe. The bahn.de website provides all the information neccesary to plan your trip on train around Europe.
We simply need to put our city of departure and arrival on the website, the date and time of the journey and the website will find the way for you to move to your destination city, as long as it is in Europe.
And to see how impressive it is, just try and search a way to move from the most extremity city of europe (I tried from porto to Istanbul) and the website will give you the solution no matter what. You will just have to choose which one convient you the most, either you want to arrive earlier, you don’t want to change train often, or you don’t want to pass a certain country or city, it is up to you!
And if you are in German, you could use the ticket machine there to plan your trip (using the same tool on the website) and print the train schedule at the machine. Without a doubt a useful tool if you are planning to discover Europe on train!

Im Syauqi from Manipal, India. I’m a Malaysian too. Got your blog from a friend in Mangalore. I must tell u, your stories about all the places u went in europe makes me feel soo jealous! I really want to go there.
My friends and I are planning to tour Europe next holidays for 3 weeks(Feb-March). We’re still planning our trip. For us,money is a bit of an issue. Not that we dont have enough money(err i think we have enough..hopefully), we’ve been saving for this trip but we also dont want to waste our money on the unnecessary stuf like expensive transportation,accomodation and etc. We’ve also made the International Student Identity Card, hoping to get some discounts from there.
I know its a lot to ask but i’m hoping you can give me some ADVICE on how i should plan my trip. Some people say its best to travel by train,some people dont agree with that. We dont know how to get a train ticket and we dont know which hotel to go,people say u can just find a hotel when u reach there.. to be honest… we dont know anything yet.
