I could see everyone’s smile as we entered our apartment in Budapest. We started running to choose our own bed, unpack our bed to do the laundry after 7 days travelling with dirty clothes, open the fridge (hoping there would be a welcome drink inside), playing with the television remote and not forgetting putting our CD that the muazzin in bosnia gave us inside the DVD player. All of these services were offered in our apartment. Sounds like a luxurious apartment isn’t it?
And not to forget, it is located in …

Fourteen of us were on our “Tour d’Espana” by car and none of us was cultivated enough to realize that Granada is famous for Alhambra and it is a must place to go. I decided before the trip we would just stop for a night in Granada for sleep without visiting and nobody seemed to refuse.
It was the friendly lady, still with courage waiting for our arrival at midnight, that questioned us “What the hell are you doing in Granada without visiting Alhambra.” After debating for almost 15 minutes, she …

What would you do when you arrive in a city, in the middle of the night, it was dark, you were looking for your hostel, then you realize that the hostel wasn’t there. Well, that what almost happened to me. Seriously, this hostel really needs to put a sign indicated the location of the hostel. I tried to call the hostel few times but the number indicated inside my third party website wasn’t the right one.

As I returned from Prague, one of my friends asked me if I found it difficult to move around in Prague. For me, everything is within a walking distance area. He was surprised as he thought that the train station is a little bit out of town. I found that it was more for the fact that our hostel, is situated between the city center and the train station. It is called Ace Hostel.
The hostel manager welcomed us with an open heart in the hostel. We received an e …

There are few reasons why we visited Munich. To see the christmas market, to visit Munich itself, as a stopover to go to Fussen, and to continue our visit later to Salzburg.
If you are like us, and you need a hotel near the train station, 4 you Munchen should be your choice. Just as you go out from the train station, the hotel can be reached within 2-3 minutes. One day, we had a train at 7.20 a.m. and we finished having breakfast at the hotel at 7.15 a.m. and …

I got a message from a friend in Besancon asking for a recommendation of apartment in Paris. His parents will be coming all the way from Malaysia, and I believe that he might need to consider taking a cheap hostel, or the cheap Accor hotel. At least he needs a nice apartment with a kitchen (of course you want your mum to cook while she is here) and located in the chic area of Paris, not in the suburb.
Feel appartment is one of the website that lists all the cheap …

I needed to find a hostel in Bayswater area. I simply love the area with varieties of place to eat, including my favourite cheap restaurant in Malaysian hall.
Central hostel is one of the cheapest hostel that I could find in the area (starting from 10 pound). I had the possibility to stay at Malaysian Hall but since there is a curfew there, I prefer to stay in a hostel where I could go out and go back whenever I wanted.
If you are planning to come to this hostel, I would …

I was quite surprise when I was looking for a hostel in Zagreb. For a country in the Eastern part of Europe, I found it was a little bit pricey. I randomly chose one of the cheapest hostel available, hotel Mali Mrak, 140 kn for 2 persons bedroom (around 19€) and 120kn for 3 persons bedroom. (around 16€).
The hostel was situated a little bit out of town, in a housing area, but we easily found them just by following the instruction given on the website. What I loved the most …
