Sleeping in Heathrow

Indianboy: We’re taking an early flight from Heathrow to India? Can we just sleep at the airport? Have you tried it and what do you think of it?

I’ve slept in Heathrow twice. Last year when I took the Air India flight to Malaysia and last two years, Royal Brunei flight to KL too. Both of these flights left early in the morning so I had no choice rather than sleeping in the airport.

Happy doughnut day!

In conjunction with the doughnut day, yesterday, I would like to introduce you to one of my must-go place in London. Krispy Kream at Harrods! Doughnut day? You mustn’t have heard about it, but it exists!

Doughnut day has been celebrated since the World War 1. In the US, most of the doughnut stores offer free doughnuts on the day. It is celebrated on the first Friday of  June so don’t forget to mark your calender if you missed this event this year.

A hostel with graffiti design, Central Hostel London

I needed to find a hostel in Bayswater area. I simply love the area with varieties of place to eat, including my favourite cheap restaurant in Malaysian hall.

Central hostel is one of the cheapest hostel that I could find in the area (starting from 10 pound). I had the possibility to stay at Malaysian Hall but since there is a curfew there, I prefer to stay in a hostel where I could go out and go back whenever I wanted.

Can everybody fly with Air Asia?

A famous low cost airline in Asia, has just opened a new route to Europe. Air Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, now offers direct flight from London to Kuala Lumpur, and then, you can connect to the other Asia-Pasific countries.

I took this flight in April for a short holiday in Malaysia. Since the flight fly from Stansted, I took a terravision bus from Victoria to Stansted. A one way ticket costs 9 pound but I took the return ticket which finally costs me 14 pound. I thought it would be …
